Lis Wiehl

Lis Werhl worked as a reporter for NBC News and the All Things Considered program of National Public Radio. She was previously an anchor to NBC News and National Public Radio's All Things Considered. She's authored the best-selling 18 books in history, such as Hunting Charles Manson : The Quest for Justice. Lis Was Wiehl, a Washington resident born in Yakima and raised with her family by their parents. West Valley High School in Yakima gave her an honorary degree. She graduated from Barnard College Columbia University with an associate's degree in 1983. She earned her MA degree in literature in 1985 at Queensland University.
